Mr J. P. McFaull, chief economist of the Meat and Wool Boards’ economic service, has been elected president of the New Zealand Association of Economists. Professor B. E. Niculescu, head of the department of economics at Victoria University of Wellington, has been elected vice-president. (P.A.) The resignation of the Rev. R. Leishman, minister of the Presbyterian parish of CustOxford, was accepted at the monthly meeting of the Christchurch Presbytery. The resignation will take effect from the day of his induction ! into the light duty parish of! I Springburn.
