LANDING RIGHTS

New Zealand had agreed to review its decision to cancel Canadian Pacific Airline’s right to land in the country, the Trade Minister (Mr JeanLuc Pepin) said today. .
He told Parliament the undertaking was given by the New Zealand Transport Minister at the request of Canada. Mr Pepin said the debate over the air rights had been lifted to an inter-govern-mental level.
Canada was looking at New Zealand suggestions to settle the dispute. It was hoped that the landing rights would be restored to C.P.A.
