NOW U.E.B. MAKES FULL CARPET RANGE AVAILABLE HERE FOR FIRST TIME
The U.E.B. all-wool carpet that has been so spectacularly successful on the Australian market is one of the big new range now being marketed in New Zealand, its country of origin. U.E.B. marketing man, Mr. Gordon Dryden says: “We were optimistic about the overseas sales drive we launched 18 months ago, but export orders exceeded even our high expectations. This has meant that some of our carpets have been in limited supply in this country.
“By stepping up production, through new plant, we have < overcome that, and today the full range of U.E.B. export i carpet is available here.” On display now Leading retailers are nowr exhibiting a large range of the colours and designs in allwool and predominantly wool carpets that have started the , big trend back to wool in Australia. These include a selection of the best designs created by overseas earpet special-f ists for UE.B. Textiles.
Created originally for their own particular country, these designs have sold in other U.E.B. export markets, are certain to prove as popular in New Zealand. • U.E.B. carpets have recorded spectacular sales in Australia, which imports carpet from around the world.
