"The Pres*" Special Service
A remit seeking an age limit for members of the executive of the Trotting Conference will be put forward by the Invereargill Trotting Club at the annual meeting of delegates at Botorua in July.
The remit will ask that “No member be elgibile for for nomination or appointment to the executive on reaching the age of OS years." The Invercargill Club will also put forward a remit seeking the payment of a losing driving fee to trainers who drive horses they train. The club will also recommend that the conference executive consider an amnesty of three months for the regtstrstion of horses more thsn seven years of age. Under the Bules at present horses cannot be registered sfter reschlng seven years. There would be s provision ®f• 3to ® psnslty foe for such registrations if the recommendation was approved.
