Location: Christchurch—covering the South Island. Duties: The appointee will be required to take charge of and participate in the experimental field trials and development work carried out by the company’s R. and D. team based on Christchurch. The scope of this work extends through small scale quantitative trials to farm scale development work in the different environmental situations throughout the South Island. The work involves crop and pasture establishment and management, weed and pest control, etc., in respect of the bipyridyl and other agricultural chemicals. Experience and Qualifications: A Degree in Agricultural Science would be the minimal qualification. We are seeking a man who has experience in this field of work and one with the ability to assess the importance of the problems and . the results of the work in relation to agricultural practice.
