(N.Z. Preu Astn.—Copyright) BRISBANE. Mr J. Fair has bren appointed secretary-manager of the Brisbane Amateur Turf Club. Mr Fair, who will take up hl* Sew duties by the middle of une. Is secretary of the Auckland Trotting Club, a post he has held since IM7. Between 1983 and 1987 he was secretary of the Ohlnemuri Jockey Club and Maramua Hunt Club, and before taking these posts, -was for eight years secretary of the Westport Jockey Club and th* Westport Trotting Club.
