LYTTELTON MUSEUM
An application by the chairman of the Lyttelton museum committee (Mr B. N. Norris) for assistance from the Lyttelton Borough Council in providing signs to direct people to the museum was referred to the works committee by the council on Monday evening. Mr Norris said that some of the hundreds of visitors were having difficulty in finding the museum. Orchestra Grant. The council agreed to give $5O to the Christchurch Civic Orchestra Foundation. Taxi Licence.—J. S. Smith was granted an application for a taxi licence subject to a satisfactory police report.
