World Flight Postponed

(N.Z. Press Association)

WELLINGTON, May 5.

A 39-year-old Hamilton salesman, Mr C. Tait, has postponed his planned flight round the world after discovering that water has seeped into equipment on board his single-engined aircraft.

He now expects to leave on the first stage of his 33,000mile solo flight about 8 a.m. on Saturday, instead of Wednesday.
