Mr M. J. Goodwin has been appointed to the Wheat Re- ’ search Committee as a repre--1 sentative of grain merchants in place of the late Mr L. W. Fleetwood. The chairman of the committee (Professor J. Packer) welcomed Mr Goodwin at meeting of the committee yesterday.
Rugs Taken-—Two sheepskin fugs, of a total value of $l5, were stolen from a car parked in Twigger Street on Sunday night.
