MISSING LUGGAGE

Games Team

Waiting

(N.Z. Press Association)

AUCKLAND.

Somewhere between Mexico City and New Zealand Iles much of the luggage belonging to members of the New Zealand Olympic team.

Seven months have elapsed since the end of the Olympic Games in Mexico and no-one seems sure when the gear will eventually arrive or where it is. “We are having the greatest of difficulty getting any knowledge of the luggage,” said the secretary of the New - Zealand Olympic Association, Mr G. Craig, yesterday. “We are hoping it will ar-

rive in Lyttelton early in June.” A strike on the eastern seaboard of the United States, together with there being little shipping to New Zealand from that area, have aggravated the problem. The luggage includes personal gear and sports equipment belonging to the individual team sections.
