International Affairs Group

Reports on the activities of the last eight months were given at the annual meeting of the Canterbury branch of the New Zealand Institute of International Affairs. The branch was revived last year after a lapse oi 30 years.

The principal event of the year was an all-day session on the Omega navigation system when participants included representatives of the Royal Society, the Department of External Affairs, the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research and the Post Office.
