SCHOOLS’ TITLE
Ashburton College won the Canterbury inter-secondary schools rifle shoot at West Melton. The individual title was won by P. S. Rowley (Christ's College I), with a score of 55 out of 60.
Eight teams from six schools competed in strong easterly conditions and drizzling rain. The shoot comprised two 300 yard matches, first with two optional sighters and seven counting shots, and later with one optional sighter and five count ;ing shots. I Results
