Trawler Expected This Morning

WELLINGTON, April 18.
The Nelson trawler Joy Maree, which left the Chatham Islands under tow on Tuesday, is expected to dock safely early tomorrow morning at Nelson.
It will be the only vessel in a five-boat convoy to complete the 500-mile trip.
It was towed out of the Chathams by the Golden Dawn, which has been abandoned and is drifting about 200 miles from Wellington. On board the Joy Maree are: Mr V. King-Turner, the 22-year-old skipper; a crew-1 man. Mr P. Sloane: the skip- 1 per and owner of the Golden, Dawn, Mr P. Ballantine; his 1
first mate, Mr W. Coulter; a crewman, Mr W. Bell; the skipper and owner of the Golden Joy. Mr W. Bourke; and his first mate, Mr T. Harvey. A crewman. Mr P. Newenham. was lost when the Golden Joy sank on Wednesday. Two other ships, the Sandra Kaye and the Thetis, turned back to the Chathams on Tuesday night when a storm hit the convoy.
