Finding Of Body

WELLINGTON, March 24.

A body, believed to be that of a crew member from the missing trawler Kiwa, was found at the foot of cliffs in the Chatham Islands this morning. The body will be flown to Wellington tomorrow for identification. A helicopter crew spotted the body. Wellington police, who said tonight that the body had been found, said it appeared to be that of a male.Aabout sft 7in in height. It had been in the sea about ten days. The search for the trawler and its three crew members was called off last week.

Council Donation.— The Lyttelton Borough Council at its meeting last evening decided to give $6.30 to the New Zealand Society for Protection of Home and Family.
