HORSES TO STAY

At least three of the visiting North Island horses are expected to remain in Canterbury after the Easter Cup carnival ends on April 5. R. P. Norton intends entering Monsignor and Vindicator for races at the Forbury Park meeting on April 12 and the Canterbury Park meeting at Addington Raceway on Anzac Day. Monsignor is to be entered for free-for-alls at both meetings. while Vindicator will contest races for intermediateclass pacers. The Raglan trainer, P. R. Stephens, intends racing Loyal Knight at Forbury Park and Addington. He, too, will contest free-for-alls, over 13 furlongs at Forbury Park and over a mile on Anzac Day.
