Visitors Go Fast "The Press" Special Service PALMERSTON NORTH. The Takanlnl visitors, Kerry Dawn and Honey Belle, looked impressive when they galloped an easy mile at Awapuni yesterday. Kerry Dawn was doing her work particularly well at the finish and Is the likely favourite for the Te Wanaka Hack Handicap. Honey Belle is almost certain to contest the Awapuni Gold Cup, with B. S. Dodds as her rider. Dpdds will also ride Kerry Dawn. Conditions were Ideal, and the plough was used for most of the work. The course proper was open but no horses galloped on It. There has been no rain here for some time and the track is hard and fast. On the plough Kerry Dawn and Honey Belle started easily from the mile. They worked around to the two furlongs and came from there in 24 2-Ssec, with Kerry Dawn travelling every bit as well as her betterperformed stablemate.

Flying Crest and Sir Quetzal again pleased when they ran five furlongs In 1:3 2-5, the last three In 39 2-Ssec. With R. W. Taylor suspended Flying Crest will be ridden by L. K. Tinsley. On the Inside trial Far Quest ran an unusually fast mile. He was partnered over the last six furlongs by Listening Post. Far Quest ran his mile in 1:41}, the last three in 39}sec. Far Quest carried a fair weight and had something In reserve. He contests the Adderstone Handicap.
