OVERSEAS SALES

SYDNEY Mining shares were generally firmer on the Sydney Stock Exchange today as several leaders edged forward. C.R.A., Hamersley and Mt Isa made gains, while current favourites to improve Included Pacific mining, Sliver Valley and Uranium Consolidated. Beach stood out among oils, jumping 35c to 145, apparently because of the company’s interest in an area adjoining one in which New Zealand's latest oil find is located. Woodside paids were firmer, but there were no other significant changes despite another gas find near Roma. Industrials were well supported, Blue Metal rising 15c to 338, and Bank of New South Wales gaining 10c to 696. B;H.P. rts, which finish today, firmed 30c to 1240.
