RUGBY SUPPORTERS’ “BATTLE” AT INTER HOSPITAL MATCH.—The air is filled with flour from exploding paper bags as the traditional “battle” between supporters warms up before the Hospitals Cup Rugby final at Richmond, Surrey. The cup was won by St Bartholomew’s Hospital, which beat Guy’s Hospital by 11 points to 3. This was St Bartholomew’s sixth cup triumph, but the first since 1931.
