The filly by Garrison Hanover from Maidette, by Fallacy, will be offered on account of Mr P. T. Binnie, of Christchurch.

The judge. Mr J. D. Litten. commented favourably on the! high standard of the yearlings produced, and men-, tioned the tremendous advances made since the sales were started 25 years ago.

The parade, the first held in the evening, attracted a very large attendance, includ- i ing a number of Australian visitors.
