FINAL CONCEDED

(N.Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN. After losing her first life. 16-17, to Mrs B. de Jongh (Thames Valley) in the seventh round, Mrs R. Dymond (Taranaki) turned the tables on Mrs de Jongh in the final to win the women's national “cham-pion-of-champions” bowls singles at Oamaru yesterday. Mrs de Jongh conceded the final after the eighteenth end with Mrs Dymond leading 23-9. The outcome never looked in doubt after the second end, when Mrs Dymond forged ahead with consistent drawing shots. The final was Mrs de 1 Jongh’s fourth match of the day, two of them producing very tight finishes. Results of earlier rounds were:
