Pallet Cargo Ship Due

WELLINGTON, Mar. 11. The first ship to run to New Zealand with a pallet cargo, the Shansi, will berth in Wellington tomorrow. The Shansi is the latest addition to the fleet of the Brit-ish-owned China Navigation Company.

The ship, the first of its kind ever to call at a New Zealand port, has side-ports through which forklift trucks move cargo.

This method Is estimated to be about twice as fast as conventional derrick loading.
