fIV.Z. Press Assn.—copyright)

MELBOURNE. The New Zealand-bred mare. Lowland, will be sent to America next month to be mated with Vaguely Noble. Lowland, which is by Agricola out of Impeccable, is a four-year-old and won the A.J.C. Oaks last season. She is owned in New Zealand by Mr and Mrs A. C. Williams and is leased to five Australians. Their lease will expire on April 7—the day Lowland is to run in the Sydney Cup. Lowland's trainer. J. B. Cummings, said yesterday Lowland would go to America after the cup.

For the next two seasons Lowland will be served by Vaguely Noble and will then return to her owners in New Zealand.

It is planned that her first service will be to southern hemisphere time.
