MISSING AT SEA
Inquests To Be Held (N.Z. Press Association • AUCKLAND, March 10. Inquests into the deaths of [eight men listed as missing [on voyages north of New Zea land will be held in Auckland on April 2. Four of the men were on a 35ft trimaran, the Fiddlers Green, which left Auckland for Rarotonga on May 7 last year and has not been seen since. The other four were on board a 54ft launch, the Lady Lesa, which was last seen oil Cape Reinga on June 1. The skipper of the tri inaran was
Charles Mostyn Wells, also known as Bluey Wells, aged 40, married, of Till : rang!. I Also on hoard were Richard James Maddock. age< 56, married, an Ameri can living at Kerikeri the owner of the boat; Peter Shannon Hall, aged 27 single, an Englishman and Alexander Wells, aged 26. single, whose parent: live in New Lynn. On board the Lady Les; when she left Kawau Islana for Noumea on May 26, were Roy Lidgard, aged 74, Auck land boatbuilder anc yachtsman, and skippei of the Lady Lesa, of Kawau Island: James Lidgard, aged 44, of Kawau Island, son of Mi Lidgard; Geoffrey Lidgard, aged 23, of Kawau Island, a grandson of Mr Lidgard: and Louis Fraser, aged 22, of Bayswater.
