(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. Inside the final furlong of the Thompson Handicap at Trentham on Saturday, Honour Me (G. Edge) was squeezed and had to be checked when racing on the rails on the inside of Red Chips (E. J. Didham) and General Myth (D. Thomas). The field was tightly packed at this stage of- the race, and although there was some slight movement inward by General Myth and Red Chips, It was decided after viewing the film that no rider could be held guilty of careless riding, and accordingly no further action The film confirmed that Bywon, which was racing behind Red Chips, General Myth, and Yoshiko for most' of the run down the straight, was unable at any stage to get into the clear. Near the four and a half furlongs Colorado Boy R. B. Marsh), which was fairly well back in the field and not at this stage travelling well, had to be checked. Marsh said he attempted to improve on the inside at the furlong, but found there was insufficient room. R. J. Leggett Suspended (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. R. J.
