Space Flight Delayed

(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter —Copyright) CAPE KENNEDY, Feb. 28. American space agency officials have announced that the flight of the Apollo 9 spacecraft has been postponed until Monday because all three astronauts concerned are suffering from colds. Dr Charles Berry, the agency’s medical director, told a press conference that the [three men were feeling much 'better, but recalling that the 'astronauts in previous Apollo I missions had also fallen victim of mild sicknesses, he added:

“I feel very strongly that the stress and demand of these complex missions contribute to the astronauts catching colds. With heavywork schedules they do not get adequate rest. We have got to do better in the future.”

j Dr Berry said he would recommend stricter quarantine procedures for future astronauts.
