The Minister of Education (Mr Kinsella) has replied to a protest by the Canterbury Education Board over the lack of a woman on the newly-: constituted Christchurch Teachers' College Council Ini a letter to the board he said he appreciated the desire for: a woman nn the council and: expressed the hope that the time would not he too far distant when the council would have a woman among its members. i
