Unwanted Lowboy

A lowboy which was left at the back door of an unoccupied house in Tinwald between February 9 and 16 has been handed in to the Ashburton police by the owner of the house.

Senior-Sergeant A. E. Leadley, of the Ashburton police, said that the owner found the new piece of mahogany furniture when she visited the house.

Inquiries have been made among furniture dealers and cartage firms in the town but the owner has not been traced.
