MANGAMAUNU DOG TRIALS
The annual field day organised by the Mangamaunu Collie Club attracted a large number of entries and apectatora to "Katwhare,” the property of Mr J. J. Mackie. Judging was by Mr C. Chambers, of Kekerengu (beading), and Mr P. Evans, of Kaikoura (huntaway).
Results were:— Heading.—Open: J. W. Laugesen's Laddies 97}, T. .E. Barwell's Mac 97. J. J. Smith’s Moss 95}. Maiden: N. Oakden’s Mac 94. T. Boyd's Glen 931, J. G. Latter’* Dan 93.
Huntaway. Open: J. J. Smith’s Sandy 96i, P. Mackie's Duke 95, R. Harris's Rock 94i. Maiden: P. Mackie’s Duke 95, P. Boyd's Ned 93i. M. Parson's Case 93.
