Insight Into Racialism
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) WASHINGTON, Feb. 20.
A Washington school, turning the tables on “white supremacists,” has decreed that blond-haired students I are to be treated as inferior for two days. The school’s principal (Mr 'Thomas Warren) is observing “Brotherhood Week” bv showing the students how racial prejudice develops and spreads.
Signs have been put up saying “Blonds Use Side Door,” and light haired students have been banned from using a number of water l fountains, lunchroom tables and other facilities.
Broadcasts over the school's public address system have declared that blonds are inferior racial types.
One blond girl, prevented from joining her dark-haired friends for lunch, said: “I know it’s a joke, but if you had to go through this all your life you’d feel pretty bad.”
