Accord In Bonn
The British Prime Minister (Mr Harold Wilson) and the West German chancellor (Dr Kurt Kiesinger) yesterday jointly declared that, for both their countries, a united Europe was inconceivable without Britain. “They both agree to work out, together with other European Governments, the means by which a new impetus can be given to
■ the political unity of Europe.” said a statement issued after two days of talks between the two leaders. It added that the two Governments reaffirmed that European security depended on the continuation and strengthening of the Atlantic Alliance.—Bonn, February 14.
