N.Z. MILK BISCUIT

100 Tons In Food Aid (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Feb. 6. New Zealand would supply about 100 tons of the wholemilk biscuit to the world food programme during 1969, the Acting Prime Minister (Mr Marshall) said today.

“This amount will form part of New Zealand’s contribution of $420,000 to the programme for the two-year period, 1969-70, about twothirds of which will be spent on New Zealand commodities,” he said to representatives of the Dairy Board and the New Zealand Food Bank. He said the offer of wholemilk biscuits had • been welcomed by the programme authorities, who had also indicated their willingness to incorporate substantial amounts of New Zealand ghee in the programme's feeding projects.
