Anderson, managing director of Austral Standard Cables Pty, Ltd, has been elected president of the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, the largest tertiary educational establishment in the Southern Hemisphere. He has been a member of the institute’s council since 1958. Mr Anderson, who is a fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, has under his direction the company’s New Zealand group at Hornby.
