AUSTRALIA LECTURER IN PSYCHOLOGY APPLICANTS should be qualified to conduct the introductory course in general psychology and to offer courses at the higher undergraduate and graduate levels from the general area of perception to include sensory processes, psychophysical methods and scaling. Dutiea will include preparation and supervision of laboratory courses for both arts and science students, the organisation of seminars, arrangement of tutorials, the supervision of post-graduate students and departmental liaison with the University’s department of external studies. TUTOR IN PSYCHOLOGY Applicants must be graduates preferably with some previous experience as a Tutor and/or Demonstrator. They should be qualified to assist in teaching the various aspects of general psychology on a full time basis. Duties will include the conduct of tutorials with first year students, laboratory supervision and the assessment of internal and external assignments. SALARIES: Lecturer: $A5400 x 270 5A7020 X 280—57300. Tutor: $A3375 X 225—6A4275. Conditions for Lecturers include travel and removal expenses, superannuation, assistance in buying or building a home, and study leave. Study leave travel grants are available and credit may be granted for existing study leave entitlement. Conditions for Tutors include travel and removal expenses and, for married appointees, subsidised rental.
