Sir, —I read that Cashmere and Sydenham Police Stations are to be closed. 1 hope that [this is part of a plan to in-; [crease the mobile patrols to really adequate strength, so that amongst other things it may be possible to hold a dance in any church hall, without resorting to a posse of vigilantes to defend it from disorder.
