Canterbury Frozen Meat continued to see-saw: the shares gained 4c to 212 c.

Insurances were again firmer, New Zealand rose 2c to 436 c, and South British added 5c to sell at 540 c. Both are new peaks for the shares. U.E.B. rose another Ic, to close at 112 c. J. Wattie Canneries continued to fall and lost 5c to 168 c, and N.Z. Forest Products also reversed the recent trend. Dom. Finance Off List Dominion Finance Holdings, Ltd, of Christchurch, has been removed from the Stock Exchange list on completion of the merger with Broadlands Investment Group, Ltd.
