Team For Trentham
•'The Press’* special Service CAMBRIDGE. Native Diver, which won the Queen Elizabeth Handicap and ran fourth in the Auckland Cup recently, will travel south on Friday to be prepared for the Wellington Cup. His trainer, W. W. Townsend, wants to give Native Diver time to settle in at Trentham as the gelding has never been away from home before.
The stable jockey, G. R. Edge, will ride Native Diver.
Depending on form, Pualeilani and Creolian, which will race at Avondale oq Saturday, could also make the trip next week.
W. J. Bromby plans to take Pell Mell to Trentham for major mile races. Pell Mell won the Aniversary Handicap last year. If Bardowie races well enough at Avondale this week he, too. make make the trip and the juvenile, Seiko, may also go.
