Last Match Washed Out

The second day of the cricket match between the B teams of Canterbury and Otago in Dunedin yesterday was washed out because of heavy overnight rain. It was a disappointing end to a successful tour, in which the Can. terbury side scored wins against North Otago, Southland, and Central Otago.

Another one-day fixture at Geraldine was won on the first innings. The performance of the team was heartening and in all matches the team played bright and interesting cricket. Each outright win was gained'only in the last 15 minutes of twoday matches.
