Twenty In Squad
Twenty players have been chosen in the practice squad from which the Canterbury team will be chosen for the annual Rothman’s national un-der-23 tournament to be held in Christchurch from FebruI ary 3 to February 8.
The squad will practice at the indoor school at the Hagley Sports Centre on Saturday, starting at 10 a.m. and on Sunday.
The players chosen are —R. W. Anderson (Riccarton). B Bhana (Linwood High School). C. L. BuH (Old Boys). A. E. Collins (Lancaster Park). P. G. D’Auvergne (South Canterbury). W. Fulton (Christ’s College), C. de B. Galwey (South Canterbury), R. E. Gearry (Lancaster Park). D. R. Hadlee (Old Boys). A. R. Hounsell (Old Boys). B. P Isherwood (Riccarton). .1. F. Jackson (East-Shirley), C. M. Kirk (West-University). A. E. R Morten (Old Collegians). J Phillips (Linwood High School), J. D. Riley (Old Collegians), D. W. Stead (Riccarton), P. A Stubb ings (Riccarton), D G. Trist (West-University), and I. M. Walter (West-University).
