TRAINING IN
N.Z. Cadets From Singapore (N.Z.P. A. Reuter—Copy right) SINGAPORE, Jan. 5. Four officer cadets of the Singapore Navy left by air this morning for New Zealand to attend a midshipman's course at H.M.N.Z.S. Tamaki in Auckland. The four cadets, Lint Khoon Bock, Lim Eng Lian, John Ng Tock Song and Frendando Allen, members of the Maritime Command of the Singapore Armed Forces, were selected for the one-year New Zealand training course after a series of exacting medical and aptitude tests. The training is being sponsored by the New Zealand Government.
