Four Injured In Falls
Miss Robyn Trotter, of 10 Kaiwarra Street, suffered head injuries when she fell from a horse in Cashmere Road about 10.20 a.m. on Saturday. She was admitted to the Burwood Hospital, where her condition last night was reported to be fairly satisfactory. Another young woman. Denise Howard, of 27 Grassmere Street, suffered head and shoulder injuries when she fell from a horse outside 306 Main North Road about 4.34 p.m. yesterday. She was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital, where her condition last night was satisfactory. When he fell from a hay truck at the Islington freezing works about 8.44 a.m. on Saturday, Donald William Sheerer, of Shands Road, suffered internal injuries. He was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital, where his condition last night was satisfactory. A boy, Roderick Charles Dowler, of 22 Greenpark Street, was knocked out when he fell about 20ft to the ground from a tree near his home about 11.25 a.m. yesterday. He was taken to the Christchurch Hospital but was discharged.
