4768 Planes lost By U.S.
(N.Z. Press Assn—Copyright) SAIGON. Jan. 5. The United States is approaching the SUSSOOOm mark in the value of aircraft losses in Vietnam, the number of which now stand at 4768.
Updated figures issued by the United States Command in Saigon shows that America has lost 2493 fixed-wing airi craft and 2275 helicopters i since January 1, 1961.
