Hangings In Amman
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) AMMAN, Jan. 5. Two men convicted of spying for Israel were hanged in Amman this morning. They were Zahran Youssef Ismail Kharroub, aged 49, and Übhi Abdel-Hafiz Abdullah Kharroub, aged 39. Both were from the village of Habla, on the Israeli-occu-pied west bank of the River Jordan. Major Abdel Raouf Abdin, the military prosecutor, said in a statement that the accused had confessed to having spied for Israel since 1964.
