Two Petitions Dismissed
A petition seeking the winding up of the Rail and Pipe Company, Ltd, was dismissed by Mr Justice Macarthur in the Supreme Court yesterday on the application of the petitioning creditor. United Sawmills, Ltd (Mr R. L; Kerr); Mr Kerr said the debt had been paid. A petition to declare Arthur Keith Bingley, a theatre manager, bankrupt, was also dismissed on the application of the petitioning creditor, Maurice Stanley Cockerill, a garage proprietor (Mr K. N. Hampton). Mr Hampton said the debt had been paid.
