World Bowls Entrant

S. Lawson (Burwood), New Zealand’s representative in the Vita Lite championship, will compete for the title of the world’s most accurate bowler at the Burwood green this morning. The competition, open to all countries affiliated to the International Bowling Board, requires each entrant to bowl four balls on eight ends. The distance of each bowl from the jack will be measured to a sixteenth of an inch and the total forwarded to the organisers in England. Lawson was selected to take part by the New Zealand Bowling Association. I
