Bns Service Extended
An extension of some Dalllngton trips from the Daliington Bridge to Torlesse Street to provide a shopping service for pensioners in Mabel Howard Place was approved by the Christchurch Transport Board yesterday. It was not necessary or desirable to extend all the trips because the route ran further on along Mcßratneys Road to Locksley Avenue and it might be necessary in future to run some additional trips to the avenue, the works and traffic committee said.
