$600 Subsidy Offered

The New Zealand Trotting! Conference will pay a subsidy, of $6OO for each of four horses; competing at the Inter-Dominion: Championship series in Adelaide next February. This was announced by the secretary of the conference (Mr .1. Rowley). The subsidy, which will apply to three approved pacers and one trotter, will apply whether

the horses travel by air or sea and it will be reducible by the amount of stakes won by the horses in Australia in excess of $2OOO, said Mr Rowley. To be eligible for the subsidy, the horses will have to return to New Zealand within 90 days of the running of the Grand Final.
