CRICKETING COUPLE. —Geoff Davies, of New South Wales, a late replacement in the Australian test team playing against the West Indies at Brisbane, tries on his jersey with the help of his English girl friend, Miss Jackie Edwards, at his parents’ home in Sydney. He was chosen to play only a day before Miss Edwards arrived from England to see him. They met when he played Lancashire league cricket last year.
