DAMAGE BY FIRES
Fire severely damaged an unoccupied wooden house at 79A Maces Road, Woolston, shortly after 2 a.m. yesterday morning. Fire engines from Woolston and Headquarters were sent to the blaze at 2.12 a.m.
Slight damage was caused to one bedroom by a fire in a house occupied by Mr B. Lilley, at 93 Palmers Road, New Brighton, just before 4 a.m. on Saturday. Two fire engines from New Brighton and one from headquarters attended.
