MISS BARBARA JONES, a Christchurch student kindergarten teacher, who won the Canterbury “Model of the Year” contest at the Riccarton Mall last evening. Her prizes are a trip to Pakatoa Island, given by Trans-Skyway, Ltd, and a three-day visit to the Academy of Elegance, Auckland, to attend modelling classes. Miss Jones, who is to be married at Easter, will use her travel prizes on her honeymoon.
