Officers elected at the annual meeting of the Canterbury Healthy Life Society were: president, Mrs A. Chalmers; secretary, Mr D. A. Metcalf: treasurer, Mr C. Fitzsimmons; hostess, Mrs M. Foot; committee, Messrs R. Mete-Kingi, S. Drain, T. Gordon, L. Franzman and Mesdames J. Gordon and Nicholson.
The society has been functioning in Christchurch for a year and has kindred societies in Auckland and Nelson.
